tasmiṃs tīrthe mṛto yas tu sa yāti paramāṃ gatim /
brāhmaṇaḥ kṣatriyo vaiśyaḥ śūdro vā nṛpasattama //
he who dies at that sacred bathing site attains the supreme destination, / whether a Brahmin, Kṣatriya, Vaiśya, or Śūdra, O best of kings.

vihitaṃ karmakurvāṇaḥ sa gacchati satāṃ gatim /
Performing his ordained duty, he attains the destination of the virtuous.
