na saṃspṛśanti gātrāṇi śastā gauḍavadhūryathā /
āyudhāni tatas tyaktvā bāhuyuddham upasthitau //
Seizing each other's hands with their hands, striking indeed with fists, / with locks and blows of the hand and the like, they fought with each other.
