manoharaṃ tu tatsthānaṃ sarveṣāṃ hi divaukasām /
jñātvā tīrthaviśeṣaṃ tu sthito devo maheśvaraḥ //

Knowing that place to be delightful to all the gods
and indeed an extraordinary sacred bathing site, the god Maheśvara stayed there.
