etac ca saṅgamaṃ puṇyaṃ yathā veṇyāṃ sitāsite /
dṛṣṭvā tīrthaṃ tu te sarve gīrvāṇā hṛṣṭamānasāḥ //
And this confluence is holy, like the white and dark [waters] at the Veṇī.
Having seen the sacred bathing site, all those gods were gladdened in mind.
