vācāṃ tāṃ mānuṣīṃ śrutvā sa rājā vismayānvitaḥ /
śīghraṃ gatvā tato 'paśyad brāhmaṇaṃ brahmavarcasam //
Hearing that human voice, the king was filled with amazement; / hurrying forward, he then saw a brāhmaṇa of spiritual radiance.

hā hā kaṣṭaṃ kṛtaṃ me 'dya yenāsau ghātito mayā /
"Alas, alas! An evil deed has been committed by me today, in that he has been struck down by me!"
