putrāś ca mātṛśokena sarve pañcatvam āgatāḥ /
snuṣāś caiva tu tāḥ sarvā mṛtāś ca saha bhartṛbhiḥ //
And through grief for their mother, all the sons met death; / and all those daughters-in-law also died along with their husbands.
