yāni dattvā naro bhaktyā mucyate sarvakilbiṣaiḥ /
devaśilāyā māhātmyaṃ snānadānāddhi yatphalam //
giving which with devotion a man is freed from all sins? / Truly, the glorification of Devaśilā, what fruit [comes] from bathing and gifting,
