śabara uvāca:
nāhāraṃ cintayāmyadya muktvā devaṃ varānane //
The Śabara said:
"I do not think of food today, setting aside the Lord, O fair-faced lady!

devakāryaṃ vinā bhadre nānyābuddhiḥ pravartate /
Except for the work of the gods, my dear, no other thought arises."
