ṛcamekāṃ paṭhed yas tu yajuṣaḥ sāmna eva ca /
samagrasya sa vedasya phalam āpnoti vai dvijaḥ //
Whoever recites a single verse of the Ṛgveda, Yajurveda, or Sāmaveda, / that twice-born obtains the fruit of the entire Veda.
