te 'pi pramuñcanti bhayāt tu ghorāt kim atra viprā bhayapāpabhītāḥ /
ghore yuge 'smin kalināmnyapuṇye tvaṃ bhrājase kālajalaughapūrṇe //
even they are freed from dreadful terror—how much more so here brahmins terrified of fear and sin! / In this dreadful age named Kali, devoid of merit, you shine forth, filled with streams of black water.
