brahmahatyā kṛtā raudrā kṛtaṃ cānyena pātakam /
surāpānaṃ tu cāpy asya saṃjātaṃ cānyakāmataḥ //
The terrible killing of a Brahmin was committed [by one], and a sin was committed by another; / drinking liquor indeed occurred for another, unintentionally.
