dve bhāryye kaśyapasyāstāṃ sarvalokeṣv anuttame /
garutmān vinatāputraḥ kadrūputroragāḥ smṛtāḥ //
Kaśyapa had two wives, unequaled in all the worlds. / Garutmān was Vinatā's son, and the serpents are known as Kadrū's sons.
