tvatprasādena bho nātha mātṛśāpaṃ tarāmy aham /
havyavāhamukhaṃ yasmāt prayāmi na jagatpate //

'O Lord, by your grace may I cross over my mother's curse, / so that I may not enter the mouth of the bearer of oblations, O Lord of the universe!'
