Salutations to the one who holds a great axe in hand, whose dwelling is golden,
to the lord of the Vasus, and to the lord of the gods! // 37
Salutations to the pure, to the licking fire, to Sadyojāta, to wrath,
to the lord of the planets, and to the heart of the planets! // 38
Salutations to the king of planets, who is followed by the great planets!
Salutations to the one fierce in peace and self-restraint, who bears a fierce staff! // 39
Salutations to Yama, to the protector of Yama, who holds Yama's staff!
