[…] / he spoke with a voice rumbling like a cloud, resounding like a hundred kettledrums: / "You, O best of beings, are fit to fight with the Dānavas for me. / You alone, leaders of the gaṇas, are sufficient to oppress them. / Therefore, O beings of great vigor, along with your hosts and your followers, / march forth for their destruction; I am pleased [with you], O beings of great might!"
