Consisting of all light, the auspicious foremost of Mothers,
Bahumāṃsā the Great Knowledge, arose from the bull-bannered [god].
And from the bodies of all the deities emerged auspicious Mothers,
bearing their own forms and powers, destroyers of the demons:
Vāyavyā, Vāruṇī, Yāmyā, and Kauberī, full of great might,
as well as Mahākālī, Āgneyī, and thousands of others.
