Then, together with the mountains, Himavat, the best of mountains, / having heard the command of Prahlāda, undertook the devastation of the lands.
In whichever lands all the rites consisting of offerings to the ancestors and gods, / such as sacrifices and oblations, take place, the mountains overran them.
