tribhāgahīnaṃ pakṣaṃ vā tribhāgamantyameva vā
vittaśaktyā tu kartavyaṃ trayodaśyāṃ sadaiva hi
Or for the fortnight minus a third part, or only the final third part; / according to one's wealth and ability, however, it must always be done on the thirteenth.
