dikpālapūjanaṃ kāryaṃ prauṣṭhapadyāṃ sadā budhaiḥ
The fourth [lunar day] that falls within the fortnight of the ancestral rites, O best of the twice-born, / during the month of Prauṣṭhapada, the worship of the world guardians should always be performed by the wise.
