yaḥ snāti tatra saṃrambhāddhyātvā hṛdi maheśvaram
śuklāṣṭamyāṃ viśeṣeṇa sa pāpeṣu na līyate
Whoever bathes there with zealous effort, meditating on Maheśvara in his heart, / especially on the eighth day of the bright fortnight, is not touched by sins.
