eteṣāṃ yo japaḥ putra svādhyāya iti kīrtitaḥ
yadṛcchālābhasaṃtuṣṭaḥ saṃtoṣa iti paṭhyate
the recitation of these, my son, is celebrated as the study of scripture.
Contentment with whatever comes by chance is recited as contentment.
