sarveṣāmeva bhūtānāṃ vedaścakṣuḥ sanātanam
vedaḥ śreyaskaraḥ puṃsāṃ nānya ityabravīdraviḥ
The Veda is the eternal eye of all beings; / the Veda brings about what is highest for men, nothing else—so said Ravi.
