tanmātrāṇāṃ dvitīyastu bhūtasargaḥ sa ucyate
vaikārikastṛtīyastu prokta aindriyako dvijāḥ
the second is that of the subtle elements, which is called the elemental creation; / and the third is the modified creation, declared to be that of the senses, O twice-born.
