yasmātsarvamidaṃ brahmanviṣṇurudrendrapūrvakam
mahābhūtendriyaiḥ sarvaiḥ prathamaṃ saṃprasūyate

From him all this, O Brahmā—Viṣṇu, Rudra, Indra, and the rest— / along with all the gross elements and the senses, is produced at the beginning.
