śūlāgre sthāpite daitye brahmādyā munayastadā
astuvanvividhai stotrairhṛṣṭoḥ lokastadā'bhavat
When the daitya was impaled upon the tip of the trident, Brahmā and the other sages then / praised him with various hymns, and the world was filled with joy.
