arthakāmau dvijaśreṣṭhā īṣādaṇḍastathocyate
avyaktamiti yatproktaṃ buddhistasyaiva viḍvalaḥ
Wealth and pleasure are stated as such, O foremost among the twice-born, and the draft-pole [was Dharma]; / that which is proclaimed as the Unmanifest, its very intellect was the bamboo awning-pole.
