iṣustasyābhavadviṣṇuryamaḥ śalyaṃ dvijottamāḥ
śarasya taikṣṇyaṃ kālāgnirevaṃ devamayo rathaḥ
His arrow was Viṣṇu, Yama was the barb, O foremost of the twice-born; / the sharpness of the arrow was the fire of time—thus was the chariot made of all the gods.
