38.21

pṛṣṭaḥ kastvaṃ kuto yātaḥ kiṃ kāryaṃ ca tavepsitam
kutra yāsyasi tatsarvaṃ kiṃjātīyo bhavānvada

[The king] asked: “Who are you? From where have you come? And what is the business you desire?
Where will you go? Tell all that. To what class do you belong?”
