sūta uvāca -- prāyaścittaṃ pravakṣyāmi śṛṇudhvaṃ munipuṃgavāḥ
sarveṣāmeva varṇānāṃ śuddhimāha yathā raviḥ
The sages said: You ought to tell us, O Sūta, disciple of Vyāsa of great intellect,
the determination of the lunar days and the rules of expiation.
