gurvarthe vā tyajetprāṇānbrahmahatyāṃ vyapohati
gatvā vārāṇasīṃ vā'pi kālāttatra tyajedasūn
Having ascertained the lunar day clearly by the sun and moon in this way,
the one observing vows should always fast on the eleventh, the third, and the sixth.
