retaḥ siktvā jale yastu kṛcchraṃ sāṃtapanaṃ caret
veśyāyā gamane caiva prājāpatyaṃ samācaret

Therefore, in inadvertent grief, childbirth-pollution, or calamity,
having bathed, the vow must be observed, O brāhmaṇas; otherwise one incurs the violation of the vow.
