anye tu vaiṣṇavāḥ puṇḍrānacchidrānapi bhaktitaḥ |
prakurvīrandīpapadmaveṇupatropamākṛtīn ||
The ordinary Vaisnavas are to use with Bhakti, the Ûrdhapundras without any empty space, but the form of it is to be like a flame, the blossom of a lily or like a bamboo leaf.
