cakāra nṛpatistatra jātakarmādikaṃ dvayoḥ |
dadau dānāni viprebhyaḥ putrajanmapramoditaḥ ||

The King then performed the Jâta-Karma (ceremonies on the birth of a child) and being very glad, made lots of presents, wealth, etc., to the Brâhmanas.
