asyāḥ pitātidharmātmā dauhitrārthaṃ mṛto raṇe |
yudhājidbhayasantrastā samprāptā vijane vane ||
The father of this Manoramâ was very religious. He died fighting for the cause of his daughter's son. Now the present queen has become much afraid and has therefore come to this wild forest.
