kīrṇāni bhinnapuline naramastakāni keśāvṛtāni ca vibhānti yathaiva sindhau |
tumbīphalāni vihitāni vihartukāmai-rbālairyathā ravisutāprabhavaiśca nūnam ||
The human skulls were driven ashore by the current and they look like so many hollow shells of gourds scattered there for the play of the boys on the banks of the Jumnâ.
