taṃ vihāya priyaṃ kāntaṃ kariṣye'haṃ na cāparam |
vyāsa uvāca |
pratyādiṣṭā'tha vaidarbhī tayā bahunidarśanaiḥ ||

Vyâsa said:-- Thus the mother, the daughter of the King of Videha, found many signs and at last desisted. She then reported to the King all the words of S’as’ikalâ.
