viṣṇunā caritaṃ pūrvaṃ mahādevena brahmaṇā |
tathā maghavatā cīrṇaṃ svargamadhyasthitena vai ||

In days of yore, Visnu, S’iva and Brahmâ and the Devas in the Heavens all performed this worship of the Goddess.
