Devibhagavatapurana 4.1.24

4.1.24

dvārakādurgamadhyādvai hariveśmādduratyayāt |
na jñātaṃ vāsudevena tatkathaṃ divyacakṣuṣā ||

Why did not Vasudeva see, with His inner vision, the stealing away of his son from the impregnable walls of His fortress-like mansion in Dwârkâ? (And could thus have prevented this!)
