indraḥ surānathovāca muninā jīvitā satī |
kāvyastaptvā tapo ghoraṃ kiṃ kariṣyati mantravit ||

Indra then adressed the Devas:-- Now the mother of S’ukra has regained her life through Bhrigu; but when S’ukrâchârya will receive the mantra after his severe tapasyâ, we do not know what terrible harm; he would do to us!
