vyāsa uvāca |
tatastenātha śāpena naṣṭe dharme punaḥ punaḥ |
lokasya ca hitārthāya jāyate mānuṣeṣviha ||

O king! Therefore whenever religion subsides in the world, Bhagavân Visnu incarnates frequently in this human world, due to the curse of Bhrigu.
