krothaścāṇḍālarūpo vai tyaktavyaḥ sarvathā budhaiḥ |
tasmādroṣaṃ parityajya prasādaṃ kuru suvrata ||

O observer of good vows! Anger is like chandâla; sages therefore quit it. Our prayer to you is that you leave your anger and be pleased with us.
