4.2.34

kṛtakarmavipākena prāpnuvanti sukhāsukhe |
avaśyameva bhoktavyaṃ kṛtaṃ karma śubhāśubham |
dehavadbhirnṛbhirdevaistiryagbhiśca nṛpottama ||

O best of kings! The fruits of karma must have to be experienced, whether auspicious or inauspicious, be he a Deva, or human being or an animal; any one who has embodied himself in fine or gross bodies!
