brūhi tatkāraṇaṃ brahmanna jñātaṃ keśavena yat |
haraṇaṃ tatrasaṃsthena śiśorvā sūtikāgṛhāt ||
O Brâhmana! Please explain to me why was that child stolen away from the lying-in-chamber, though S’rî Krisna was staying there at the city; and how was it that he was not able to know this beforehand!
