vyāsa uvāca |
evaṃ dattvā varaṃ tasmai yayau brahmā nijālayam |
so'pi daityavaraḥ prāpa nijaṃ sthānaṃ mudānvitaḥ ||

Vyâsa said:-- Thus granting him the boon, Brahmâ went to his own abode; the lord of the Dânavas, too, returned to his place, very glad.
