utpattikāraṇaṃ vāpi sthānaṃ paramakaṃ ca yat |
ṛṣiruvāca |
na cotpattiranāditvānnṛpa tasyāḥ kadācana ||

The King said:-- O Brâhman! What is the nature of Her? and what is the Supreme Force? What is the Cause of this creation? And where is Her highest place? Kindly narrate all these to me.
