śiṣyāya ca yathoktāya vaktavyaṃ nānyathā kvacit |
yasya deve parā bhaktiryathā deve tathā gurau ||

He who is fully devoted to his Ista Deva and who is equally devoted to his Guru, to him the high-minded persons should declare the Brahma Vidyâ.
