ityuktvā taṃ pratuṣṭāva gaṇeśaṃ sarvasiddhidam |
stotreṇa svātmaniṣṭhaḥ san bhaktyā paramayā yutaḥ ||
Having spoken thus, established in his own Self, endowed with supreme devotion, / he praised that Gaṇeśa who grants all perfections with a hymn of praise:

oṃ tatsaditi śrīmadāntye purāṇopaniṣadi śrīmanmaudgale mahāpurāṇe prathame khaṇḍe vakratuṇḍacarite gaṇeśamudgalasamāgamo nāma viṃśo'dhyāyaḥ ||
Om tat sat. Thus, in the glorious late purāṇa-upaniṣad, in the glorious Maudgala Mahāpurāṇa, in the first section, in the deeds of Vakratuṇḍa, the twentieth chapter named ‘The Meeting of Gaṇeśa and Mudgala’.
