baddhāñjalipuṭo bhūtvā stotuṃ tamupacakrame ||
Hearing Gaṇeśa’s words, Brahmā bowed down to him, / and joining his hands in reverence, he began to praise him.

oṃ tatsaditi śrīmadāntye purāṇopaniṣadi śrīmanmaudgale mahāpurāṇe prathame khaṇḍe vakratuṇḍacarite brahmaṇastapaścaraṇaṃ nāma catvāriṃśo'dhyāyaḥ ||
