tasmāllakṣe ṛṣīṇāṃ yanmaṇḍalaṃ ca prakāśate |
ṛṣīṇāṃ maṇḍalādūrdhvaṃ lakṣamātre sthito dhruvaḥ ||
A hundred thousand [yojanas] from that shines the circle of the sages; / at just a hundred thousand [yojanas] above the circle of the sages is situated Dhruva.
