bṛhaspateḥ pādahīnaṃ maṇḍalaṃ bhaumasaurayoḥ |
vistārācca tayoḥ pādahīnaṃ saumyasya maṇḍalam ||
A fourth less than Jupiter's is the disc of Mars and Saturn; / and a fourth less in extent than those two is the disc of Mercury.
